Gaelyn's first ER visit

Today was an interesting day. Last night Sasha accidentally broke a drinking glass in the kitchen but cleaned it up right afterward. This morning I woke up and fed Gaelyn just like normal. She didn't eat much and started fussing so I put her down on the ground. I started to make my lunch for the day while keeping my eye on the little one. I thought I saw her put something into her mouth but I didn't think much of it. A few minutes later I looked at Gaelyn and she had some stuff dribbling out of her mouth. I was then quite confused at where this brownish-redish slobber was coming from. I put my finger in her mouth and did a sweep from right to left and on the left side of her mouth was a piece of glass. The brownish-redish slobber turned out to be blood running down her chin.
I was calm about it and hoped she hadn't swallowed any glass. I told Sasha about the morning and we agreed to take her to the ER so they could X-ray her tum-tum-tummy. She didn't like the ER (who does!!) but she was very well behaved. After the tests she came out squeaky clean.....no glass in her stomach. Thank goodness. All is well and she is super happy.
Check out the ER pics. She is even cute in the hospital!!

Some pictures of the baby

It has been forever since we have posted anything so we wanted to put some pictures of Gaelyn. She has grown so much and we love her cuteness. We hope you do too!!

These are the last few pictures of her in Phoenix. We left shortly after these pictures were taken.

Gaelyn SUPER SHOPPER!!!

This is in Gaye's livingroom in Florida.

This is the first of the beach pictures. She is at the beach in Naples Florida with the family. Check out her pink shoes. SO CUTE!!!

This is Gaelyn after a big day of playing. We are in Dallas in this picture.

No longer in Phoenix

It is true. We are now in Dallas Texas. I accepted a promotion and we had to relocate. So far we love it here and we have no time to update this thing because we are in the process of house hunting. We will post later with a ton of videos and pictures. Stay tuned....if you care.

New Moon Trailer!!!

I just watched the New Moon trailer and Holy Yes!!!!!!! I'm so dang excited! It's a good thing they're filming the movies pretty much back-to-back because waiting forever in between movies is not an option.
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON trailer in HD

Careful folks, when you see this face coming at you, you have mere seconds to save your life! She really is the most adorable little girl EVER!!!

Wiggle-Worm

Glen put Gaelyn in her bouncy-chair for a minute so he could do something in the kitchen really quick. When he returned to get her this is what he found.

This was taken after Glen's graduation ceremony. It is so hot here. We had only been out of the building maybe 5 minutes and we were all sweating. Poor Gaelyn was so hot that she too was sweating and her cheeks were all red. I ended up dumping water on her from her sippy-cup to cool her off.

Master!

Today Glen became a Master! He graduated from ASU today!!! Gaelyn and I are so proud of him. There will be pictures soon, and trust me you will love his pink hood and tassel! LOL, Glen wasn't very happy about that, but he rocked it! Congratulations Babe!

Strawberries

Gaelyn loves strawberries. I read that you aren't supposed to let babies try berries until they're older, but Glen and I were snacking on some and she really wanted to try some. We put one in her little chewy-net deal and man-o-man did she like it! She couldn't wait for the next bite!

This is what happened when the strawberries were all gone.

Skype

Living far away from family can be a real bummer, especially when you start having kids. It's sad that you can't bring them to visit their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins somewhat frequently. So, the next best thing turns out to be Skype. Just about everyday Gaelyn either gets a call or calls family. She loves her Skype calls and gets very excited when she hears Skype ringing! It's really cute. So, living far from family stinks, but for now Skype helps bridge the gap.

She's On Her Way

Gaelyn can now push up onto her hands and knees all by herself. It won't be long before she starts crawling around and really giving us (and the cats) a run for it!

Jimmy Fallon Goes To Cirque Class

You have to watch this, it's hilarious and the blue unitards are hot! LOL

3 Babies

Gaelyn loves tackling Micah. Micah used to be terrified of her, but once he discovered that she could pet him he fell in love.

Nap Time

To the Pool

We took Gaelyn to the pool for the first time the other day. We thought that it was warm enough before we left the apartment, but after we got to the pool we discovered that it wasn't warm enough for Gaelyn. It wasn't cold, but she takes after Sasha when it comes to swimming-the water better be warm. My Gulf Coast girls.

She wasn't too sure about the whole pool idea.

Gaelyn has seen the pool now and still doesn't think it looks like fun.

Get me out!
So, Baby G wasn't impressed with the pool. Maybe she will like the ocean better.

So cute

Gaelyn has grown into her 6 month old wardrobe so she gets to wear new clothes. I think she likes looking at her closet of clothes, she always smiles and reaches for her clothes when we're picking out her outfit for the day. Anyhow, here she is in a cute dress that Glen picked out for her.

New Video

It has recently come to my attention that there are a few of you who have not seen Gaelyn in person so I will try to put more posts of videos so you can see her in action. This video is of her in the car and she screamed so loud that she kinda scared herself. It is pretty funny.

The real new post

It has only been three months since our last post so I don't know what you are all whining about. It really isn't THAT long is it??? Anyway, since our last post Gaelyn has had her third, fourth, fifth and sixth month birthdays. In fact, this afternoon at 3:52 she was exactly 6 months old.......give or take an hour because stupid Arizona has a problem with daylight savings time. She can sit up on her own and can eat real people food. She is happy and healthy and we love her more and more.
I am almost done with school here. In 3 weeks I will be graduated and I will have my Master's degree. I am waiting to hear back from a number of places as far as jobs and such but I am excited to be done.
And now for some pictures, which is the real reason any of us have a blog.

These are on the lawn of our church.

Gaelyn and I like to watch TV.

Here she is!!!!

Melia, Devin, and Kathryn all came down to hear my last recital of my Master's degree.

I think this is my favorite picture of Gaelyn. This is her cheering for me right after my recital.

This is Gaelyn's favorite toy. It is her little jukebox. It plays various classical music and lights up and she squeals every time we pull it out.

Happy New Year!!!

New Years Eve at Nana and Papa's house. From left to right: Sasha, Arianna, Gaelyn, Glen, Papa, Nana, Alec, Uncle Eddie, Auntie Amber.

The best New Years kiss ever!

Of course Gaelyn was up to bring in the New Year, she wasn't about to miss out on the party!

My Little Funny Face

Glen and I were out shopping one night with Gaelyn. When we went into Old Navy the sun was out and it was warm, when we left it was dark and chilly...the chilly temperature surprised Gaelyn, can you tell? LOL! So cute!
